Hola Familia, como esta? This week was pretty normal I guess, I can't remember anything really fun happening but I'll do my best to remember some things for you guys. Okay so last Monday I did a ton of walking. We had to go buy bus cards for the kids in the district so we went to the only place we know that sells them and their freakin system wasn't working. They told us there was another place just a little ways down the road. Well, we walked a solid half hour down the road before we finally found this place where they sell the bus cards. After that we played soccer of course. It was crazy hot and it really sucked because its not only hot but really humid as well so I've been sweating like crazy this week. Monday was also Elder Hurst's birthday and the zone leaderls bought cake so that was pretty fun. Tuesday was pretty normal, the district counsel and then the normal stuff that happens on Tuesday.  Wednesday we didn't do anything either I don't think. On Thursday, I had divisions with the new ZL , Elder Gudiel, He's got about the same time as I do and he walks at light speed, I swear. I was having a pretty hard time keeping up with him. The reason we did divisions was for a baptismal interview, but Milton wasn't able to pass because hes been drinking coffee but this Saturday, he will get baptized for sure. Um, Friday, we did divisions with Elder Cruz and Elder Henderson who is fresh out of the CCM. It was pretty fun. Elder  is having a hard time working, he's got like 14 months and he is just really homesick.  I've done everything I can to help him but I think the best thing for him will just being with a greenie all the time.  Friday morning before we finished divisions my comp decided that it would be a good idea to go get his toe operated on by a sister in the ward. So when we showed up, he had his foot all wrapped up in gauze and all that crap. He just had  some ingrown toenails but apparently it hurt really bad, so he had this lady cut them out.   Hes' been able to work this week so all is well. Saturday and Sunday were normal except for the fact that they had me give a talk Sunday with like 20 minutes warning.   Luckily there weren't many people in church yesterday.

Elder Ngungutaus spanish had it had gotten a ton better by the time he left.   Right now he's with an Elder from my group, Elder Fisher from Canada.  My comp being from Guatemala is pretty cool because he's been able to teach me some cultural stuff and it makes it really easy for him to bond with the people. I think thats about it for my week. I love you all a ton and hope you don't get sick again. Love Connor

April 20

Well this week was pretty interesting. First off all we did Monday was sleep and then say goodbye to everyone because my comp has changes. Tuesday was the big day of the changes. The messages before and the testimonies of the people leaving were really awesome. My trainer went home Tuesday and he was one of the few that got to share his testimony with the entire mission.   It was really cool to get to hear him one last time. President and Hermana Caffaro gave some really awesome talks about how this was the first group of missionaries that they were actually going to miss and I have to agree with them. The missionaries from the other groups I didn't really know very well but I knew a lot from this group and I'm really going to miss them a lot. So I know you all really want to hear about my comp so here goes. My comp is named Elder De Leon or Elder Of Lion if you want me to talk in English. He's from Guatemala but lives up in Coban, He has 18 months in the mission and is an awesome elder. When I received him in the change meeting, I had so many people tell me, "Oh I'm so sorry man," which was stupid because my companion is fantastic and they have nothing to be sorry about. All these people were judging someone they didn't even know. But anyway, he's awesome and I know I'm going to have a ton of success with him. His family is loaded and he has a ton of money and a really nice speaker, so we've been jammin out to hymns all the time. We had an awesome week and found a ton of new contacts.  The majority of which were families. Everyone in my district had changes. Elder Hurst is now in a trio so there are five missionaries in our ward, which is pretty fun. Then the elders in Guajitios got a kid, which means he's training and I think he's super excited about that. His name is Elder Cruz and he's training Elder Neal from Idaho. who is an awesome kid, a little bit quiet but still a good kid. Then there are the assistants Elder Pugmire and Elder Moran who are both amazing, of course. My comp know a ton of English but we mostly talk in Spanish which is really nice. Okay funny story I just remembered. Friday, I was on divisions with Elder Buchanan, and we were teaching these kids and after the lesson they began to atttack us with there foam puzzle pieces. Then when we tried to leave, they locked the door and we were freaking trapped inside their house. We finally escaped by running out the back door but it was insane and I thought I was going to die.

Yes I have a cell phone but its a piece of crap and I'm always hearing about Brady and his freaking Ipad, its crazy. Haven't tried any new fun foods yet.Love you guys a ton and hope you have another fantastic week. Love Connor.

P.S chase sweet muscles man.

So this was when I was able to hold some baby bunnies which was so awesome.  They were so amazing.

Happy Birthday!

This week was a pretty fantastic week!!! First off Dad was right, my comp has changes and I'm staying in my area. I'm pretty excited to see who my new comp is and hope that he is going to be a good worker, who can help me out a little bit more in the work. My comp was pretty sure that he was going to leave this week so he wanted to work super hard this week. So every week the assistants have a ton of contacts which I only know because I'm their district leader and they have to give me their dats every night. So this week my comp had the goal to beat the assistants in contacts because he really wanted to win. So anyway we went crazy contacting this week and got like 400 contacts this week which is crazy high, and whats even crazier is that we had a lot of lessons too. Anyway it was a fantastic week and we had a lot of succuess.
Monday we just played soccer like always. Tuesday was pretty normal and nothing really happened. No I'm just kidding. So first off my comp surprised me in the District counsel by buying us all pizza from Pizza Hut. It was really good and very nice of him. After that we went and worked like a normal day until about seven thirty when we went and had a special birthday dinner with the Estacuys, which are is by far my favorite family I've met on the mission. They made a really nice dinner and bought me a cake. Then they made me a present which was awesome. I think I've already told you about how they all call me Wall-ee so they made me this Wall-ee made out of paper with a little Book of Mormon in his hands and a tie on. It was so cool and I'm going to send you a picture. Yes, I did get my face shoved in the cake which was super fun. (Apparently this is a birthday tradition in Guatemala).  Wednesday I went on divisions and Thursday too. They both went really well and I was able to learn so much from the other elders in my zone. Saturday and Sunday were pretty slow. I don't really know what happened but we didn't have many lessons which sucked but oh well. Sunday was fast Sunday for us too which was really fun. Chase proud of you for going until dinner now you got to start fasting the entire 24 hours and tell me how that goes.

I didn't get my packages from you but what ever. I did get the one from Grandma right on time but I'm still waiting on the ones from you guys. No we don't have to do our own laundry, thank heavens, we pay a member to clean it. Anyway I think that's it for this week. Love you guys a ton. Love Connor

So quick story the other day the Jehovah Witnesses were passing by knocking the doors by our house. My comp got all sorts of excited because he's wanted to argue with the Jehovah witnesses for a very long time. He put all those pictures on the outside of our door and then they didn't knock so he was a little disappointed but it was really funny how excited he got.

This week was pretty slow but really fun. Like I've told you before it was Semmana Santa so there were a lot of people that weren't home and everyone that was home didn't really want to talk to us or were drunk. On Monday we played soccer of course. Then on Tuesday we went and worked.  I don't think anything happened that I can remember. Wednesday we had divisions with the zone leaders which was so much fun. I was with the zone leader that's about to go home but has been in his house for about two weeks now. It was a little hard to get him to go out and work but we had a really good day and found a really nice family. There was a family that was going to make us egg cakes but they didn't have time to go out and buy the stuff so they didn't make any for us. On Thursday we had the opportunity of doing divisions with the assistants. It was kind of scary because on Tuesday, I think, they called us and said they would do divisions with us.   This was weird because they never do divisions with us but it was really fun and we were both able to learn a lot of stuff from them. Friday was the worst day by far.  Nobody was home and we just contacted all day. In the night we had a Family Home Evening with a bunch of families in the ward and it was really cool.  We just talked about the atonement which was really cool. We watched the newest video that the church has made which was really cool. Saturday and Sunday was just conferences all day long but they were sooooooo good. I was able to learn so much and receive so much revelation. All the gringos were together in one room of course which was really fun.  We ate a ton of pizza for lunch and just hung out. After the afternoon session on Saturday we all went and bought ice cream which was super good.

All the buildings in the city are colorful.   All the houses are all different colors and they're all super fun bright colors. Fast offerings are a huge blessing here.  They help so many people and bless the lives of many.

I love you all a ton and hope you have a great time on my birthday I have no clue where you should go eat you can let dad decide. Hope you all have fun going back to school this week . Love Connor.
So the first picture is when me and my comp set the wall on fire using hand sanitizer and some matches. The other is the room where we watched conference when we were finished with it.
This last picture is one I saw on Facebook, that another mom poster.  Love these unexpected pictures of my boy.
